YPARD Asia and Pacific coordination
Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) is a global platform of young professionals under 40 years of age active in Agricultural Development. YPARD serves as a medium for young professionals in agricultural development to voice their views, exchange perspectives and to contribute to sustainably improved livelihoods, worldwide, through a dynamic agricultural development. The global coordination unit of Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) is hosted by the Global Forum for Agricultural Research and Innovation (GFAR) at FAO in Rome.
The Agricultural Information Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (All of CAAS) acts as the host for the YPARD Asia and Pacific regional coordination unit. The funding of this agreement will support the proposal for regional plan activities 2018-2019, as prepared by the YPARD Asia and Pacific coordination unit with support from country representatives.
