Youth Hackathon
1.Program objectives
Hackathon is an innovative event where teams of creativity and expertise explore solutions for specific issues and challenges in a collaborative environment. Typically, a hackathon lasts for several days, and possible outcomes include ICT tools, software, apps, sustainable products, business models, or other solutions, which may lead to the inception of a start-up business or project. With the assembly of people from all walks of life who do not normally work together, this environment comprising of hackers can explore solutions both practically and innovatively to address food and agricultural problems.

Innovation
The Youth Hackathon is a platform for creativity, structured around three tracks: New Technology, New Pattern, and New Service.
New Technology : We champion the use of advanced tech like sensors and mobile apps to craft data-driven solutions.
New Pattern : We're enhancing the agricultural value chain through innovative business models, propelling industry growth.
New Service : Pioneering data-based services through mobile and sensor tech, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in agricultural support.
Incubation
The Youth Hackathon is founded on the solid platforms of FAO and CAAS, serving as a fertile environment for innovation. It offers participating teams access to international cooperation and formative support.
Inclusion
Our project exemplifies inclusivity by assembling cross-sector teams from a multitude of stakeholders, thereby integrating diverse perspectives and expertise.
Multi-stakeholder Participation : Teams are formed by combining members from various sectors, including research institutions, universities, enterprises, NGOs, and farm organizations, reflecting the project's commitment to inclusivity.
Youth Development : We are committed to nurturing the next generation of innovators. By supporting our youth teams with knowledge, skills training, and incubation opportunities, we are investing in a passionate and creative workforce.
