On June 13, 2019, the "Northeast Asia Agriculture and Rural Development Institute" (hereinafter referred to as the "Institute"), jointly initiated by Inner Mongolia Minzu University, Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, Center for International Agricultural Research of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Mongolian University of Life Sciences, the four-party meeting was held in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia. The meeting was chaired by Professor Xiu Changbai, Vice President of Inner Mongolia Minzu University. Bachulun, Vice President of Mongolian University of Life Sciences, Professor Qiao Guanghua, Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University, and Wang Jing, Director of the Center for International Agricultural Research Office attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on the collaboration mechanism of the four-party meeting and the focus of the next scientific research work. The meeting decided to set up a permanent secretariat of the School of Economics and Management of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University to be responsible for building and managing the institute's expert resources and information sharing platform. The four parties will jointly determine research topics and share research results. The meeting decided that the next four-party meeting will be held in Beijing in the second half of 2019.
