On November 1, 2023, the 2023 Global Poverty Reduction Partners Seminar was held in Beijing. Themed "Deepening Poverty Reduction Partnerships, Enhancing Global Development Resilience," the seminar aimed to strengthen global cooperation in poverty reduction to better address the challenges posed by global development. The Director of the China International Poverty Alleviation Center, Liu Junwen, chaired the meeting. During the event, the "Global Poverty Reduction Case Collection 2023" was released. Awards were presented to representatives of winning cases from the fourth Global Poverty Reduction Case Collection, and the launch of the fifth collection was announced.

CIAR was invited to participate and delivered a speech, focusing on how advancements in agricultural science and technology can support the development of rural industries. Emphasis was placed on the driving force provided by the FAO-CAAS innovation platform in constructing rural industrial chains. The presentation also highlighted successful experiences derived from existing collaborations, with the aim of further promoting the sustainable development of rural industries.
