CIAR Organized Training and Exchange Activity on Official Document Writing
In accordance with the mission of cultivating interdisciplinary talents for international agricultural cooperation under the "Going Global" alliance and strengthening personnel exchanges and training, addressing the training needs of CAAS system's administrative offices in official document writing and research report composition, CIAR and AII jointly hosted a training and exchange activity on the morning of July 27. The event aimed to enhance the writing skills of scientific research management personnel in official documents and research reports. Dr. Li Huishang, a researcher at CIAR, delivered a specialized lecture on "Basic Standards of Official Document Writing and Exchange on Writing High-Quality Research Reports." A total of 103 participants from various departments of the Agricultural Science Academy system and member units of the "Going Global" alliance attended the training.
The training adopted a combination of a main venue and video conferencing to allow more participants from units outside Beijing to join the official document writing training. The training had a broad coverage, high participation, and significant impact. The content focused on three key aspects: basic standards of official documents, writing research reports, and appreciation of excellent samples. It provided strong theoretical guidance and practical guidance, offering ideas and guidance for various departments of our institute and member units of the "Going Global" alliance to handle official documents and write high-quality research reports more effectively.
Attendees expressed that the training was practical and targeted, enhancing everyone's understanding of the basic standards of official documents and research report writing. The next step is to study, comprehend, and implement the training content conscientiously, actively transforming the learning outcomes of this training into a powerful driving force for improving the writing skills of official documents and research reports.
