On April 1st, Xu Ming, Deputy Director of Center of International Cooperation Service, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Wei Liang, Deputy Director of the Foreign Aid Training Department, visited the Agricultural Information Institute for research. Nie Fengying, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Information Institute and Executive Deputy Director of Center for International Agricultural Research, along with personnel from the Division of International Research and the Center for International Agricultural Research Office, participated in the exchange activities. Xu Ming introduced the basic situation of the International Center's foreign aid training and suggested that the orientation and positioning of foreign aid training projects should be clarified, emphasizing deep cultivation in professional fields. He expressed the hope that through strengthened mutual work exchanges, they could jointly expand the "cake" of foreign aid agricultural projects. Wei Liang provided a detailed introduction to the processes involved in the approval and implementation of foreign aid training projects, covering aspects such as preparation, management, and financial reimbursement. He shared the International Center's experiences and insights in foreign aid training. Nie Fengying introduced the progress of Center for International Agricultural Research in promoting foreign aid training projects. She expressed the hope of leveraging the advantages of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in training and using the physical presence of Center for International Agricultural Research's office to enhance the expansion of foreign aid training projects. Both sides also discussed specific cooperation matters such as foreign aid training qualification applications, foreign aid training project applications, expansion of international training projects, and joint promotion of training information and other specific cooperation matters.
