On January 10, 2025, the 2024 Council and Annual Work Exchange Meeting, guided by the Haidian District Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Beijing and organized by theBeijing Haidian District Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Federation (hereinafter “the Federation”), was successfully convened at Sunlon Cuihu Agriculture. This meeting brought together experts and entrepreneurs from agricultural science and technology to make suggestions for advancing integrated innovation and international development of agricultural science in Haidian District. The Center for International Agricultural Research, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CIAR of CAAS) attended the meeting upon invitation and delivered a keynote speech.

The meeting was hosted by Song Weiping, Chairman of the Federation and President of DBN Group. Zhu Ying, deputy director of the Haidian District Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, attended and delivered a speech. She highly commended the achievements of the Federation over the past year and emphasized that Haidian District, at the forefront of technological innovation, should fully leverage its strengths to promote the deep integration of agricultural technology with the international market and contribute more Haidian wisdom to agricultural modernization. 

CIAR of CAAS was invited to participate in the meeting and introduced its strategy research, technology integration, and “Going Global Strategy” related work, as well as the work of the National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance. It also highlighted key projects such as the China-Africa Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance and the FAO-CAAS Innovation Platform promoted under the framework of “Going Global Strategy” alliance.

Representatives from participating enterprises engaged in warm discussions on their agricultural technology business and overseas experiences. Companies such as DBN Group, Beijing Daweijia Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Beijing Jingpeng Huanyu Animal Husbandry Tecnology Co., Ltd., Jingyan Yinong (Beijing) Seed Technology Co., Ltd., Songpu Information Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Beijing Bochuang Linkage Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Xijiao Farm Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhongnongda Innovation Training Institute, Beijing Weijiexin Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Beijing Jiage Tianxia Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Cuihu Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., Nongxin Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Beijing Deqingyuan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. and shared their innovations in areas such as intelligent agricultural equipment, bio-breeding technology, biopharmaceuticals, as well as their valuable experiences in expanding overseas markets.

After the meeting, participants collectively visited the Sunlon Cuihu Agriculture. During the onsite tour, participants gained in-depth insights into advanced technology and innovative models, ranging from smart greenhouse cultivation to precision agriculture big data applications.
