Conference Announcement | Training seminar on information technology assisting rural revitalization and human development under the impact of the epidemic in the Asia-Pacific region to be Held on December 2-3
Introduction
In order to promote technological cooperation and experience sharing among APEC economies in the application of information technology to support rural revitalization, and to enhance the Asia-Pacific region's capabilities in addressing challenges to food security under the impact of the pandemic, the Agricultural Information Institute and the Center for International Agricultural Research of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences plan to host the Training seminar on information technology assisting rural revitalization and human development under the impact of the epidemic in the Asia-Pacific region on December 2-3, 2021, in Beijing. The conference is expected to be conducted through the online Zoom platform.
The aim of this training seminar is to strengthen communication among APEC member economies to identify the challenges faced by the Asia-Pacific region in terms of food security under the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The seminar will focus on three main themes: digital agriculture, women's empowerment, and youth innovation and entrepreneurship. Through keynote speeches, special presentations, roundtable discussions, and other formats, the event aims to deepen exchanges, promote collaborative research, and address challenges in these areas.
