About CIAR

The Overseas Agricultural Research Center of CAAS, under the Institute of Agricultural Information, integrates relevant departments and research institutes. It serves as a professional platform for overseas agricultural research, aiming to be a national hub for agricultural cooperation, a policy think tank, and an international information service platform, aligned with the Belt and Road Initiative and China’s agricultural “going global” strategy.

Position: International Project Officer
Field: Environment/Agriculture/Food | Master’s degree required | Salary: Negotiable
Specialization: English, Law

Responsibilities

1. Research on international bilateral and multilateral agricultural cooperation mechanisms and agricultural overseas cooperation strategies under global development initiatives;

2. Draft research and work reports;

3. Provide Chinese-English translation (oral and written);

4. Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

1. Master’s degree or above from a renowned domestic or international university;

2. Strong Chinese reading, writing, and communication skills;

3. Enthusiasm for agricultural international cooperation, with good health and a strong sense of mission;

4. Experience in international organizations preferred;

5. Outgoing, team-oriented, with strong ability to work under pressure.

1. Employment through labor dispatch, with contract-based management, including probation period as stipulated;
