About CIAR

The Overseas Agricultural Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) is established under the Institute of Agricultural Information of CAAS, with participation from relevant administrative departments and specialized research institutes. It serves as a national hub for agricultural international cooperation, a policy think tank, and an overseas information service platform. The Center is dedicated to advancing major scientific and technological innovation tasks, supporting the “Belt and Road Initiative” and the strategy of agricultural “going global.”

Position: Intern (Economics, Management, Agricultural Economics, International Trade, Foreign Languages, etc.)

Responsibilities

1. Assist in project management, including preparation and implementation of field research;

2. Under the guidance of project leaders, organize literature, collect survey data, and draft research reports and working papers;

3. Carry out other research and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in economics, management, agricultural economics, foreign languages, or related fields;

2. Responsible, diligent, proactive, self-disciplined, with good communication and teamwork skills; prior student work or project research experience preferred;

3. Strong literature review, synthesis, and report-writing skills; good English reading and communication skills;

4. Proficiency in WPS and familiarity with data/statistical software (e.g., STATA) preferred.
