"The International Agricultural Research Conference is a platform for the Center for International Agricultural Research of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to publish research results, promote information sharing and strengthen foreign cooperation to government departments, agricultural research institutions and "going global" enterprises. In order to implement the second "Belt and Road" International In the spirit of the Cooperation Summit Forum, we will continue to expand the influence of the Center for International Agricultural Research as a national think tank in the agricultural field, make full use of the achievements of modern information technology, and provide more powerful information services and technical support for my country's agricultural "going global". The Center for International Agricultural Research plans to open in October 2019. The 3rd International Agricultural Research Conference will be held in Beijing from September 21st to 24th to release the results of International agricultural research in 2019 and further promote agricultural foreign scientific and technological cooperation, policy exchanges and service enterprise levels.

This conference is hosted by the Center for International Agricultural Research of the CAAS, the Department of International Cooperation of CAAS, the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences System Foreign Affairs Collaboration Network, and the National Agricultural Science and Technology "Going Out" Alliance, and is hosted by Agriculture Information Institute of the CAAS. The size of the conference is about 350 people. It invites members of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Agricultural Cooperation, the Global Agricultural Big Data and Information Service Alliance, the National Agricultural Science and Technology "Going Out" Alliance, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Food Program, and International Fund for Agricultural Development and other international organizations, as well as agricultural research institutes, universities and enterprises at home and abroad attended the event. China Youth Daily, "Farmers Daily", Xinhua News Agency's "Economic Information Daily", "China Daily", "China Science News", "China Intellectual Property News", "China Investment magazine", "World Agriculture" magazine, "International Media representatives such as "Aid magazine" will also be invited to attend the meeting.

4. Meeting topics and arrangements

The conference will authoritatively release the research results of the Center for International Agricultural Researchs in 2019, including major progress in my country's agricultural foreign cooperation in 2019, theoretical models of agricultural globalization and phased results of technology research and development. A keynote report was titled "New Situations, New Opportunities and New Challenges in Agricultural Foreign Cooperation". Focusing on how to support the agricultural construction of the "Belt and Road", three themes are set: supporting policies for the "Belt and Road" agricultural construction, international practices and experiences, and the practice and exploration of "going out" of national agricultural science and technology. The theme of agricultural entrepreneur training is scientific and technological support for agricultural enterprises and high-quality development of agriculture going global in the context of the "Belt and Road" construction.

(1) The conference does not charge a registration fee, and participating representatives are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
