Director General of the Agricultural Information Institute of CAAS and the Deputy Director of Center for International Agricultural Research of CAAS; National Outstanding Talent in agricultural scientific research, the Chief Scientist of the agricultural remote sensing innovation team of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Vice President of the high-scoring application system of major national science and technology projects. Member of the 8th Resource and Environment Discipline Evaluation Group of the State Council, and member of the expert group of the national key research and development programs "Earth Observation and Navigation" and "National Quality Infrastructure System". Mainly engaged in basic and applied research on agricultural remote sensing.
In the past 10 years, he has presided over the "High Score System Agricultural Application" project of a major national science and technology project, which has greatly improved the monitoring accuracy and efficiency of domestic satellites in crop yield estimation, disaster monitoring, high-standard farmland, rotation and fallow, etc. The core technology has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress. He has led over 30 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation and provincial and ministerial level projects. Won more than 10 science and technology awards at provincial and ministerial level or above. Published more than 200 papers in domestic and international academic journals.
